About the Producers
The Iron Cabaret, founded in 2023 by Samantha and Martin, aims to be Ottawa's premier cabaret experience. Both Samantha and Martin have extensive performance backgrounds, with Samantha specializing in trapeze and Martin in fire and rope dart. The cabaret continues to showcase the best of Ottawa's talent while providing a platform for emerging performers. Each show is a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

"Runaway Runway" promises to be the most ambitious and spectacular event yet, showcasing an unrivaled Gala Evening that blends high-fashion with dynamic performances. Set in Ottawa, this exclusive one-night-only event will feature a 28-foot runway, hosting the largest and most diverse cast to date. Attendees will be treated to a mesmerizing blend of dance, Shibari, pole performances, burlesque, live music, and fiery displays, ensuring a night of unparalleled entertainment.

Not only a night of passion and performance but also of purpose. Our last show we raised $1450 for Ukrainian Refugees and $1400 to help local Ottawa performers with their expenses. "Runaway Runway" will be raising money for another great cause and again for Ottawa Performers. Come help us make a difference in our community and beyond.
Cast of the Show
Since 2018, Bloom's technically trained heels dancers have provided professional entertainment and education to individuals of all levels and backgrounds. Our Ottawa-based classes are dedicated to uplifting women through improving their dance skills.
The expression of women's sensuality is still stigmatized worldwide. Women are often shamed for dancing in ways that celebrate their bodies, and these views contribute to women being more at risk of low self-esteem and a negative body image. Bloom gives women a safe space that allows them to embrace every part of themselves.

​Judy Joan and Knotigan are franco-canadien shibari artists. They have started their journey in artistic Japanese bondage 5 years ago. Judy throw hundreds of ideas at Knotigan to tell stories, display beauty and power in the bind, while and Knotigan's brain works at the intersection of art and engineering to make them a reality.

Samantha is an extraordinary trapeze artist and a vibrant force in the entertainment world, notably serving as one half of the dynamic MC duo and the other integral part of the Iron Cabaret. Beyond her aerial prowess, Samantha's charisma shines through as she takes on the role of MC, where her quick wit and engaging personality light up the stage, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all. Together with her partner in the Iron Cabaret, she creates a mesmerizing blend of spectacle and storytelling, showcasing a unique fusion of talent that spans the realms of aerial acrobatics and immersive theatre.
Martin is half the producing element of the Iron Cabaret and half the MC team that will be delivering Frostbite. He has always love theater and dance yet was cursed to have two left feet. However, a great sense of humour and quick wit meant that the role of MC came naturally. He cannot to entertain you on this cold winter night while perhaps bringing some unexpected heat to the Theater!
Back by popular demand, the spectacularly sassy sparkling sensation Mistress Mae is here to dazzle and delight you both on and off stage. An award-winning and internationally recognized performer, Mae has been performing since 2017 as a solo artist and joined the Rougettes burlesque troupe in 2023. As a solo artist she has performed in numerous festivals including the Capital Burlesque Expo, the OIBF, the Itty Bitty Burlesque Festival and the Barcelona Burlesque Meeting & Festival.
