About The Iron Cabaret
How Ottawa's Hottest Cabaret got started
The Iron Cabaret takes its name from the roots of cabaret and the performers who often begin their careers in industrial venues such as basements, smaller stages, and outdoor festivals. Historically, cabaret has been perceived as risqué and sexy, but often shrouded in darkness. The Iron Cabaret aims to change that perception by bringing cabaret to the forefront and showcasing the art form in a way that appeals to all audiences, making them laugh, smile and cheer.

Our Team
The Iron Cabaret is the culmination of a long-time dream for the husband-and-wife team of Samantha and Martin. With a background in gymnastics and dance, Samantha began her performing career during high school in the USA, while Martin honed his skills through high school plays and martial arts kata demonstrations and competitions.
Fueled by their passion for the performing arts and a desire to bring exciting shows to Ottawa, they were able to connect with friends in the local circus scene and started performing at events such as Glow Fair, Winterlude, and the Museum of Nature. Together, they have worked to bring their vision to life and create a premier cabaret experience for the city.
Having launched in 2023 and now, with several shows under their belt they have pushed The Iron Cabaret into larger and larger venues. Along the way they established an artist bursary program focused on giving Ottawa Money to Ottawa Performers to work with Ottawa Small businesses. They have given out 39 $200 bursaries to the performing arts community.
As well, they have raised $14 000 for Charity (Including the bursaries) which have gone to help...
